Peshawar --- Speakers at the concluding ceremony of a three-day radio training workshop on "health-education journalism" have stressed the need for training of journalists from Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The workshop, held at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Peshawar, was organised by the Internews Pak-Afghan Cross-border Radio Trainings (PACT) in collaboration with the University of Peshawar.

Around 11 participants from Pakistan and Afghanistan took part in the training.

The speakers urged upon journalists of the two countries to work for peace and harmony. "It is the responsibility of young generation to develop good relations between the two states," they added.
