Narsingdi --- Journalists yesterday brought out a procession and formed a human chain protesting Monday's attack by local goons on Narsingdi Press Club.

They also submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner for meeting their six-point demand within the next 24 hours.

More than 100 journalists participated in the procession started from Narsingdi Press Club at 11 am and ended in front of the office of the DC.

In the memo, the journalists demanded immediate arrest of the attackers, withdrawal of false cases filed against journos, ensuring security to newsmen and identifying those patronising the criminals.
